The Program

A Structured Path Forward.

Our three-phase program gives men the time, tools, and community they need to move from early recovery into lasting independence — one step at a time.

More Than a Roof

Sober living works best when it combines safe housing with real structure. At Fig Tree Renewal Group, residents don't just have a place to sleep — they have a daily framework, a peer community, and a clear path toward independence.

Our program is designed to meet men where they are and move them forward. Whether a resident is coming directly from treatment, transitioning from incarceration, or simply ready to make a change, our three phases provide the scaffolding for lasting recovery.

Program Phases

Three Phases. One Direction.

01
Phase OneWeeks 1–4

Foundation

The first phase is about stabilization. Residents settle into the house, learn the expectations, and begin building a daily routine. The focus is on safety, sobriety, and establishing trust within the community.

  • Complete intake assessment and orientation
  • Attend all mandatory house meetings
  • Comply with curfew and overnight pass policy
  • Submit to random drug and alcohol screening
  • Establish a recovery support connection (sponsor, counselor, or peer)

Phase TwoWeeks 5–12

Growth

With stability established, residents begin actively working toward their goals. Employment, education, and treatment engagement are the focus. Community participation deepens and residents take on more responsibility within the house.

  • Active pursuit of employment, vocational training, or education
  • Continued participation in outpatient treatment or peer support groups
  • Contribute to assigned household responsibilities
  • Maintain financial obligations (rent, fees)
  • Demonstrate positive leadership within the house community

Independence

The final phase prepares residents for life beyond Fig Tree. With employment or income established, residents work with staff to develop an exit plan — securing housing, building savings, and strengthening their long-term support network.

  • Stable employment or verifiable income source
  • Active savings and financial planning
  • Develop a written transition and aftercare plan with staff
  • Mentor newer residents in earlier phases
  • Secure independent housing prior to exit
